A little more about us...
For as long as I can remember, I have always loved animals, especially cats.
I grew up in a home where my mother rescued all kinds of animals—cats, dogs, snakes, birds, bats, and even owls.
We always had many cats, and my love for them just kept growing.
A while ago, I saw photos of a Cat Café in Cape Town, and I told Marcu that I desperately wanted to visit.
It was truly heaven on earth for me! The experience was so wonderful that, no surprise, we went back again three months later.
This Cat Café inspired me, and I can truly say: I learned from the best.
We have a lot of cats—pedigree, domestic, and rescues—so many people contact us asking, "Can we visit? We’d love to see and meet all your cats!" That’s when we thought… Why not give a Cat Café a chance...?

HOW THE CAT CAFÉ WORKS...
We must adapt to the cats' behavior and environment, not the other way around.
Catelot Cat Café will be a unique experience where you can enjoy a high tea in the company of many different cats—petting them, taking photos, and simply enjoying their presence.
You will book and pay for your session on our website, after which you’ll receive the address (please do not share it).
During your visit, you'll be treated to delightful sweets prepared by the famous Soné Cake Creations, along with snacks from (supplier name to be added). A selection of juice, water, various teas, and coffees will be available, and in winter, we’ll also offer warm soups.
To ensure a calm and comfortable atmosphere for the cats, we limit sessions to 6–8 people—any more, and the cats may become overwhelmed.
Initially, we will be open for bookings on Wednesdays and Fridays, and we are also planning outdoor cat-friendly picnics at dawn.
Please note that children under 8 years old will not be permitted, as their excitement and noise can scare the cats.
We also offer private photo sessions, birthday parties, and special occasion bookings upon request.
